Hall-effect Distributor
Start at the point where the voltage output changes, then turn the distributor clockwise until
the voltage changes again, note the degrees turned and the voltage obtained. Then repeat
until a full revolution is completed.
Degrees turned | Voltage |
0 | 1.80mv |
60 | 2.0mv |
90 | 1.80v |
120 | 0.40v |
180 | 2.45v |
280 | 3.18v |
In the picture the oscilloscop paattern of hall effect sensor, it shows us if we increase frequincy of dwell time, also changing firing time and the faster it rotates the shorter dwell and the firing time.
In bellow picture the oscilloscop pattren of hall effect sensor , that shows if we increse frequincy of dwell time , and also chnging firing time.
Draw the waveform
Describe the waveform using arrows and label using A,B,C etc. What is happening at different points?
It starts to open at point A and the magnetic field stats to pick up by the hall integrated circuit(I.C) and a voltage signal was send to the op-amplifier turn on and ground it to decrease the voltage signal. From point B to C is ground. At point D, it stats to close and magnetic field is picked up by the hall sensor.
